Snow Fairy’s Oaks win evokes happy memories

YOU love to see a pony or horse that has been a good servant for you doing well when it moves on to someone else.

So we were delighted when Ice Cool Bailey, the pony Kate rode to win a team bronze medal in the European Championships in 2005, winning its class for Sarah O’Brien at Tattersalls last weekend.

Sarah is the daughter of none other than Aidan O’Brien, who owns Ice Cool Bailey now. Aidan’s son Joseph won an individual bronze medal at last year’s Europeans on Ice Cool Bailey and we’re genuinely pleased to see him doing for the O’Briens what he did for us.
