All options now open to Quevega

QUEVEGA emerged as a realistic Stayers’ Hurdle challenger to the champion, Big Buck’s, when totally outclassing the opposition in yesterday’s Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown.

Trainer, Willie Mullins, was saddling his sixth winner of the week, he later made it seven, including a remarkable four Grade 1’s.

Mullins, however, was keeping his options open for Quevega and was in no hurry to commit her to crossing swords with Big Buck’s.
