BARRY GERAGHTY has long been one of the very best National Hunt jockeys and he proved it again yesterday when giving the hugely impressive Big Zeb a magnificent ride to win the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase.

Big Zeb won by an astonishing six lengths and, though he has threatened to be top class, this was a performance we didn’t see coming.

He led home Forpadydeplasterer for an unexpected 1-2 for Ireland.
