Kempes can score in Beginners Chase

RUBY WALSH looks the rider to follow at Thurles this afternoon and it will be a surprise should he fail to figure among the winners.

He partners Kempes in the Irish Stallion Farms' EBF Beginners Chase and the seven-year-old is difficult to oppose.

A more than useful hurdler, who never showed much respect for those obstacles, the selection made an excellent start over fences at Clonmel in December.
