DUNGUIB is all set to take on 10 rivals in the Ballymaloe Country Relish Hurdle at Punchestown today before bidding for Grade One glory later this month.

The Weatherbys Champion Bumper winner made an impressive debut over hurdles at Galway and now tackles more experienced opposition such as Jessica Harrington’s Fantoche and Enda Bolger’s Freneys Well.

He is in such good form that his trainer Philip Fenton has declared him to run today ahead of the Bar One Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse on November 28, although conditions will be testing at the County Kildare track following heavy rain and an inspection is planned.
