Antoniola delivers for happy Easterby

IF HISTORY is anything to go by then Antoniola has the world at his feet after Tim Easterby took the Bollin Eric route with the youngster and scooped the Racing & Football Outlook Nursery at Doncaster.

The latter won a Town Moor nursery in 2001 before returning a year later to give his trainer Classic glory in the Ladbrokes St Leger.

It is too early to say whether Antoniola can follow suit but there was plenty to like about the Graham Gibbons-ridden 16-1 chance, who relished going a mile to account for Alrasm by a length.
