York return for Dar Re Mi
Lord and Lady Lloyd-Webber’s filly gained the biggest victory of her career in the Group One race, where she came out on top in a battle with Beach Bunny, with Look Here and Lush Lashes also behind.
Dar Re Mi has been to York already this season as part of another thriller in the Middleton Stakes when finishing on the wrong end of a photo against Crystal Capella.
Simon Marsh, the family’s racing manager, said: “She has arrived back safe and sound.
“I will probably talk to (trainer) John Gosden about it all next week but the obvious race now is the Yorkshire Oaks and then in the autumn to have a go at the Breeders’ Cup.
“She’s a remarkable filly and to have won a Group One over a mile and a quarter is great for her.”
