Lyons hopeful about Rain Delayed

THE Ger Lyons-trained Rain Delayed makes the journey from Ireland for the Listed Agfa Healthcare Scurry Stakes at Sandown , having scored decisively at Down Royal last time.

“He won well at Down Royal but this is a huge step up with a Group Three winner (Triple Aspect) in the field,” said Lyons.

“He’s a very genuine horse and does exactly what it says on the tin but he has to step up tomorrow. If he gets placed that would be grand and this race will tell us if he is up to this standard.
