In-form Casey on the mark again with Glenstal Abbey

Casey is expected to partner Pomme Tiepy in Sunday’s Grand Steeplechase de Paris and one of Mullins’ three runners in the Prix la Barka, Quevega, J’y Vole and Kempes.

He oozed confidence here on the J P McManus owned, former Ballydoyle inmate Glenstal Abbey, having his first run since last November, travelling and jumping well close to the pace before edging ahead three from home and readily brushing aside the challenge of only serious market-rival Seenya.
