The lightly-raced son of Presenting produced his best performance to date at Leopardstown over Christmas and, if stripping in the same form, is well capable of landing a moderate heat such as this.
He finished three parts of a length and nine lengths third behind Realt Dubh and Sorceror and that form has been working out quite nicely.
Realt Dubh went on to chase home the potentially high-class Cousin Vinny at Naas, while Sorceror and Indian Spring, fourth at Leopardstown, have both won in the meantime.
Rather unusually for a contest of this type, there are a number of possibilities in the Cashel Maiden Hurdle.

He made his debut over flights at Gowran Park a year ago when a promising fifth of 20 behind Swiftmarc.

Palace Merano, however, ran really well to finish fourth to Baffin Island, staying on strongly at the end of that two and a quarter miles.
He has lots of scope for improvement and another half a mile in trip now can surely only work in his favour.
Mullins could also supply the solution to the Martinstown four-year-old Bumper with Blackstairmountain.
He was very light in the market on his debut at Leopardstown, before taking a remote sixth to Tornedo Shay.
Blackstairmountain ran with the choke out for much of the journey and was never going to get home.
The likelihood is a lot more restraint may be exercised on this occasion and Mullins’ bumper horses often come on a bundle from run to run!
