Hoopy ready for Thyestes glory

THE biggest meeting of the year at Gowran Park today, featuring the Ellen Construction Thyestes Handicap Chase, is subject to a precautionary inspection at 7.30am.

Should the green light be given then Hoopy could well provide the solution to a contest which offers a first prize of €65,000.

The selection has improved dramatically since joining the Gordon Elliott yard and has yet to run a bad race for his talented handler.
