SNAP TIE bids to continue his climb up the ladder when he tackles the Blue Square Champion Hurdle Trial at Haydock today.

The seven-year-old is 16-1 for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle after defeating last season’s Cheltenham hero Katchit at Kempton and finishing a close second to Harchibald in the Christmas Hurdle.

“I’ve been pleased with his development this season and on the book he looks the one they all have to beat,” said trainer Philip Hobbs.
