Europe can bounce back, says de Bromhead

HENRY de Bromhead is hoping a return to form for his string can see stable star Sizing Europe bounce back to his best in the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on January 25.

The seven-year-old was a hugely impressive winner of the Grade One contest 12 months ago but faded tamely into fifth place behind Sublimity in the December Festival Hurdle at the Dublin track over Christmas.

His participation in that race had been in doubt due to a bruised foot, but that did not prevent him from being sent off the 15-8 favourite.
