Finicius set to follow-up

FINICIUS can keep the recent useful run of trainer Eoin Griffin going by landing the Fitzwilliam Business Centre Race at Dundalk tonight.

The four-year-old came back to something approaching his best on this track last month and has every chance of a successful follow-up.

Powerfully handled on that occasion by Jamie Spencer, he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to beat Bett’s Spirit and Soap Wars by a neck and the same. Johnny Murtagh now takes over from Spencer and that’s hardly a minus.
