Rely on Roaming
In the wars when unplaced on his debut at Tralee in August, Liam O’Callaghan’s runner set the record straight in style last week. He was quickly at the head of affairs and was always in control afterwards in 29.30.
Open to further improvement and again drawn in trap five, Roaming Eddie should prove a tough nut to crack.
Danielles Ali, a two lengths runner-up last week, should again be thereabouts but a bigger danger may loom in the shape of Oyster Millie.
Trained by Johnny O’Sullivan, Oyster Millie was having only her second outing and her first at this venue when an unlucky second behind Paddock Pass in 29.70 in the heats. She has plenty of scope for improvement and is capable of a big run.
Ballaghboy Cool, who shrugged off a near five months absence to card 29.15 at Galway recently, can go on improving in heat one of the A3 Sweepstake.
Cannot Catch Me and Tynwald Augustus will have their supporters in heat two but preference is for Motor On. This progressive sort posted a 29.41 run at Youghal at the beginning of the month and can gain compensation for an unlucky run at the same venue last time.
