Impressive Kryptonite can strike again in opening second round Laurels heat

IMPRESSIVE in the opening round, Kryptonite can strike again in heat one of the second round of the Cashmans Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park tonight.

Oliver Bray’s English Derby finalist turned in a top drawer effort last week, displaying impressive all-round pace en route to a 28.37 success. As that was his first outing in nearly five weeks, Kryptonite has scope for improvement and can advance his claims here.

Ann Wade’s Rapid Express certainly lived up to his name when blazing round in 28.24 last week, but is drawn on the ‘wrong side’ of Kryptonite.
