Contingency plans at Leopardstown

HORSE Racing Ireland has announced that should today’s fixture at Leopardstown be abandoned, it will be transferred to Sunday with the first race at 1.40 pm.

The original declarations will stand but due to a clash with Dundalk on the same day, fresh nomination of riders for both meetings would have to be made between 10am and 12.30pm today.

Today’s bumper eight-race card at the Dublin course is subject to a 7am inspection due to heavy rain.
