Moore fined €1,000 for ‘aggressive’ behaviour

DERBY-day at the Curragh didn’t start well for jockey, Ryan Moore, writes Pat Keane.

The stewards received a complaint from Robert Reid and Val Coss, employees of Cill Dara Security Services, regarding the conduct of Moore when attempting to enter the Curragh prior to racing, that he had been aggressive when refused entry at a restricted area for which he did not have proper accreditation.

Having considered the evidence and taken into account the jockey’s apology, Moore was fined €1,000.
