French 2000 Guineas winner Falco takes his chance while English Guineas third and fourth, Stubbs Art and Raven’s Pass, try their luck again.
Henry Cecil’s Twice Over and the Brian Meehan-trained Cat Junior complete the line-up.
Jimmy Fortune believes Raven’s Pass can step up on his Guineas run as he faces Henrythenavigator once again.
The rider felt the Newmarket Classic was not run to suit John Gosden’s colt and he will be hoping things pan out better this time.
“The Guineas was a complete mess-up of a race – the stalls were in the middle of the track and everyone wanted the stands rail,” Fortune said.
“When you get all the horses going to the left like that and you’re on a keen one, it’s very hard to keep them on an even keel and get them relaxed because you’re forever shifting and it wasn’t ideal.
“He’s come home after the Guineas and he’s been working well. He seems a lot more of a relaxed horse at home now.
“Like everything else going to Ascot, you’ve just got to be hopeful as you need a lot of luck there, but I hope that he’s a lot better than at Newmarket.”
