THE Aga Khan may run Sageburg against his daughter’s Darjina in the Prix d’Ispahan at Longchamp tomorrow.

The pair, both trained by Alain de Royer Dupre, are among a field of six for the Group One over an extended nine furlongs. Darjina, carrying the colours of Princess Zahra Aga Khan, is ready for her second race of the season after finishing second to Jay Peg in the Dubai Duty Free at Nad Al Sheba in March. “She’s been very well and she needs to have this race,” said the Aga Khan’s racing manager, Georges Rimaud.

“We are currently getting a bit of rain out in Paris. It’s nothing to change the plans but we are keeping our fingers crossed that things are going to be good and everything is fine.
