THE moderate Knowing Wink should be good enough to squeeze through the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Median Auction Maiden at Killarney tonight.

Following two disappointing efforts on the all-weather at Dundalk, the daughter of Big Shuffle was seen in a better light on grass at Navan last time.

She contested a handicap, which saw a decent gamble being landed by David Wachman’s Lethal Weapon. He won by a snug length from Western Winner, with the selection a further three parts of a length away in third. That was encouraging enough on the part of Knowing Wink and the form got a minor boost when fifth placed Dirtybirdie scored at Downpatrick on Saturday.
