Europe looks just Champion in AIG romp

SIZING EUROPE, regarded as very much a future chaser and marking time over flights, one suspected, jumped to the head of the Champion Hurdle betting with a stunning display in the AIG Europe Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown yesterday.

Paddy Power slashed him to 5-2 from 8-1, with Boylesports it was 8-1 to 7-2, William Hill 5-2 from 7’s, both Ladbrokes and Cashmans 3-1 from 8-1, and that was essentially the pattern with all the firms.

Prior to the AIG it was all about the potential the imposing six-year-old possessed, but now he has the form in the book and reality has dawned.
