The feature event, the Deise Cup, was won by Paul Willis from Mallow when his Rushview Oscar got the better of Ashfield Jimmy in an exciting decider.

Moonveen Smokey, the property of Brendan Mackey of Mooncoin took the Derby Trial Stake when he proved just too good for Shining Town.
