Affair can recoup losses

END Of The Affair, a costly failure on her debut, can redress the balance in the Gowran Park Golf and Leisure Maiden at the Kilkenny track this afternoon.

The daughter of Indian Ridge is reportedly well-regarded by Dermot Weld and was fully expected to make a winning start at Fairyhouse last month.

But she proved rather disappointing, only managing to finish fourth behind main market-rival, John Oxx’s Saga Celebre.
