Siege poised to get off mark

SIEGEMASTER is napped to enjoy a first success in the Come Racing in Ballinrobe 2008 Maiden Hurdle at the western track this afternoon.

Dessie Hughes’ six-year-old has promised to deliver more than he has so far, but this looks a weak race and is certainly a good opportunity.

The first of his four runs came at Cork last October, finishing a creditable length and a quarter second to the useful Druids Castle.
