DUAL 2000 Guineas winner Cockney Rebel has been retired after suffering a training setback.

Plans to run the colt in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes later this month have been scrapped.

He had been working towards the Ascot showpiece after recovering from a fractured pelvis sustained in the St James’s Palace Stakes at the Royal meeting.
