Percy poised for retirement

SIR PERCY, winner of last year’s Vodafone Derby, is unlikely to race again.

The Marcus Tregoning trained colt was a short-head victor in last year’s Epsom Classic in a thrilling four-way finish.

However, Sir Percy has not won a race since, turning in disappointing efforts in the Coronation Cup and at Royal Ascot on his two most recent starts.
