Hannon poised to run five in Super Sprint

RICHARD Hannon has five chances of adding to his outstanding tally of six winners in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury tomorrow.

The East Everleigh handler has made the race his own in recent years and will rely on Cracking, Reel Gift, Don’t Tell Anna, Cake and Penrice Castle in the £135,000 contest.

Reel Gift, drawn 18, won a Kempton maiden on her only start, while Cake (13) finished fifth behind Elletelle in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot.
