Bradburne breaks two vertebrae in his back

JOCKEY Mark Bradburne has broken two bones in his back after falling at Uttoxeter on Tuesday evening.

The rider parted company with Danbury at the seventh fence in the Diabetes Uk Novices’ Handicap Chase and was subsequently taken by air ambulance to the North Staffordshire Hospital.

Bradburne must now undergo a scan to enable the medics to diagnose the full extent of the injury.
