Improving Temlett looks the part in Ulster Derby

WILLIE MULLINS’ Temlett, a three-year-old on the upgrade, has a leading chance in the valuable Specsavers Ulster Derby Handicap at Down Royal this afternoon.

He got off the mark in good style in a moderate maiden at Killarney and stepped well up on that in a Leopardstown handicap subsequently.

Temlett made every yard of the running and was always holding Tamimi’s History in the closing stages to score by a snug head.
