Invader can finally get off the mark over flights

THE frustrating Irish Invader can finally enjoy a victory over flights by landing the Hilary Murphy Travel Novice Hurdle at Wexford this evening.

Willie Mullins’ six-year-old has long promised a lot more than has ever been delivered, but this does seem a reasonable opportunity.

He was a strong order in the market at Killarney last time, but went under by a short head to Ballycullen Boy. That winner boosted the form when scoring over fences at Listowel on Monday.
