Cockney Rebel produced a tremendous display to win the English 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and, strictly on that running, should again beat both runner-up Vital Equine and fourth placed Duke Of Marmalade.

Add in the fact Geoff Huffer’s colt has been burning up the gallops and, one supposes, he is very much the logical choice.
