TONY MCCOY struck for the first time this week when the Michael Tabor-owned Refinement sprang a 16-1 surprise in the Dunboyne Castle Hotel and Spa Champion Stayers’ Hurdle at Punchestown yesterday.

Undoubtedly true, but in the end Refinement carried far too may guns for her rivals in an incident-packed contest.
