In the New Year, RTÉ Television will also announce details of an extension to its Irish racing coverage.

Head Of Sport Glen Killane said: “This is great news for RTÉ Sport and for racing fans in Ireland. As competition increases in the marketplace it’s gratifying for RTÉ Television to continue to deliver such a comprehensive racing package to the widest possible audience in Ireland free-to-air.”
