Kalderon set to go hurdling after Listed success

TOM HOGAN'S Kalderon has promised to deliver a decent pot for a while and he did it at the conclusion of the Tralee Festival yesterday when putting up a game display in the Listed Ruby Stakes.

He made most of the running for Fran Berry, shaking off the flattering Modeeroch with about a furlong to run.

Market-leader Arch Rebel, who didn't travel at all for the first half of the contest, was soon giving chase but was still a length and a quarter down at the end.
