RUBY WALSH rode his first winner since joining the married mens' brigade with a typical copybook drive on Tony Martin's Ichi Beau, 9-2 to 7-2, in the Londis Handicap Chase at Killarney last night.

Ichi Beau may be a 12-year-old, but clearly isn't ready for the pipe and slippers just yet, on the evidence of this game display.

Hunted round at the back for much of the journey, he closed in the final mile to travel strongly on the heels of the leaders turning for home.
