Bluegrass Hill worth another chance

BLUEGRASS HILL, who performed inexplicably badly at Gowran Park last time, is given the benefit of the doubt in the Irish Rover Dog Treats EBF Maiden at Naas tonight.

The Danehill gelding went off a heavily-backed odds-on favourite then, but ran no sort of race, finishing a remote 8th of ten behind Admiralofthefleet.

There was no apparent excuse for the performance either, with the selection subsequently reported to be post-race normal.
