Test of stamina looks sure to suit Dalucci

David Wachman's colt appears to be crying out for a real test of stamina and gets it now in this extended 12 furlongs event.

The son of Daylami faced an impossible task in a ten furlongs handicap at the Curragh last month when beaten eight lengths into second place by Senora Galilei, who was in receipt of 9lbs. Senora Galilei went up a whopping 22lbs for that performance and almost defied the enormous rise in the weights when only failing by half a length in a Curragh handicap on Saturday.

House Of Bourbon seems to be on the upgrade and didn't have the clearest of passages when a length and a half runner-up behind Magicalmysterytour at Leopardstown.

But Magicalmysterytour was well beaten in Senora Galilei's contest at the Curragh and Dalucci is readily preferred.

The ultra-consistent Cobham can get back on the winning trail in the Eddies Hardware "See You Again in August" Bumper.

Possibly a little too much use was made of him when grabbed close home and beaten a short head by Tusa An Fear at Tipperary last time. It was a solid enough effort in any case.

Mission Possible, touched off in the dying strides by hot-pot War General at Sligo, is the choice in the C and M Construction Maiden Hurdle.

At Wexford tonight Kevkat, noted doing all his best work at the end of a mile and a quarter when third to Galilean and Hitchcock at the Curragh at the weekend, gets the nod in the J J Byrne Car Sales Maiden.
