CONNECTIONS of Visindar are delighted preparations have gone smoothly ahead of the ante-post favourite’s bid to land a first Vodafone Derby success for France in 30 years.

The colt, trained by Andre Fabre, is unbeaten in three starts and his talent appears to be as yet untapped as he takes on 17 rivals in the premier Classic at Epsom on Saturday.

“Everything has gone really well with his preparation. He hasn’t really had a test and we just don’t know how good he really is,” said Pat Downes, racing manager to owner the Aga Khan. “Like everyone else, when the gun is put to his head we just don’t know how he will react.
