Visindar cements Derby claims

ANTE-POST activity on the Vodafone Derby hotted up with Visindar cementing his claims with an emphatic victory in the Group Two Prix Greffulhe at Saint-Cloud while some bookmakers have removed Hala Bek and Sir Percy from their lists.

Hala Bek has met with a setback and misses York’s totesport Dante Stakes on Thursday while Sir Percy’s trainer Marcus Tregoning said he was in no hurry to commit the 2000 Guineas runner-up to Epsom.

The Lambourn trainer said: “The situation is exactly the same as it was last week.
