Marshall wants Macken to regain control of Irish team

Speaking from his home in Antrim last night, he said: "I'd love to have him back. We need somebody with a bit of knowledge of the sport and he is honest and upfront.

"I'd say he would be willing to come back. He's very passionate about the sport and would dearly love to help the team. But he has had lot of knocks and everybody runs away from lies and deceit," he said.
