Yesterday would be a snip at 2/1 - if the rain arrives!

I’D have to say my initial reaction to the 2-1 offered by Paddy Power and Cashmans, about Yesterday for Sunday’s Irish Oaks at the Curragh, is that it was a tight enough price.

Twenty four hours later and and a fax floated in our direction, telling us Cashmans’ 2-1 had dried up and the price was now 6-4.

This has the makings of a cracking contest and, if current plans are adhered to, there is going to be plenty of quality opposition to the likely of favourite.
