McManus buys Ballydoyle pair
Mikado has enjoyed a good campaign on the flat, landing a Listed event at the Curragh last time.
He was third in the Ebor Handicap at York and took fifth to Rule Of Law in the English Leger at Doncaster.
Two miles West won his maiden at Leopardstown and then finished second in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot. He finished down the field in the Irish Leger at the Curragh behind Vinnie Roe.
Both horses will be gelded and roughed off. No decision has been made regarding where they will be trained in the future.
