Johnson chases landmark winner

RICHARD JOHNSON has five rides booked at Exeter today as he continues to chase his 1,000th career win.

Johnson rode a treble at Ayr on Saturday which leaves him on 999 winners going into the meeting at the Devon track.

All his five rides at Exeter are trained by Philip Hobbs and Johnson will kick off on Moscow Whisper in the opening GG-odds.com ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle before partnering Tamango in the GG.com Handicap Hurdle.
