NOEL MEADE'S Ballyagran, despite some indifferent jumping, made a fine debut over flights when taking the INH Stallion Owners' EBF Novice Hurdle at Cork yesterday.

He is a horse who may well develop into a star of the future and Meade made no attempt to disguise his liking for the imposing five-year-old.

A reluctant leader early on, Ballyagran ballooned the second and erred as well at the next and five from home.
