DERMOT WELD will only run Grey Swallow in the Baileys Irish Champion Stakes if there is significant rainfall ahead of the Group One contest at Leopardstown tomorrow.

About 25 millimetres of rain is forecast before the 10-furlong event and that would make conditions suitable for last year’s Irish Derby winner.

However, Weld insists his four-year-old will not take his chance if the expected rainfall does not arrive.
