PAUL NOLAN is still hoping Cloone River will make the line-up for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham.

The 10-year-old had been well fancied for the Victor Chandler Chase tomorrow week but Nolan ruled him out of the race after he aggravated an old problem falling at Galway on his last outing in July.

However, Nolan is bullish about Cloone River, a general 12-1 chance to win the Queen Mother Chase, recovering in time for the Prestbury Park feature in March.
