TIMMY MURPHY, fresh from a brilliant victory aboard Beef Or Salmon in the Ericsson at Leopardstown on Saturday, kept his tremendous run going when partnering Rathgar Beau to a cantering win in the Prestige Driveways Beginners ’Chase at Limerick yesterday.

Rathgar Beau, in truth, was different class and those who bet the long odds-on never had a moment’s worry.

Murphy allowed his charge lead before the second last and didn’t have to ask for anything from that point to beat Harry The Ear in a canter.
