Stick with Honey Spray

HONEY SPRAY makes plenty of appeal in the second semi-final of the Limerick Brakes Stakes at Curraheen Park tonight.

In the wars when turned over at odds-on on his debut at Waterford last November, Honey Spray set the record straight in style last week.

Quickly at the head of affairs, Honey Spray was always in control afterwards, beating You Cheeky Girl a couple of lengths in a fastest of the round 28.55.

Open to improvement, Honey Spray can continue on an upward curve.

You Chekky Girl, having her first race last week, is also likely to progress and should again prove the main danger.

The first semi-final can fall to Bow Wow. The Michael Hoy trained runner blazed a trail when getting off the mark at the second attempt in 28.96 last week and can again shrug off a poor draw.

Movealong Dolly, a three and a half lengths runner-up behind Bow Wow, looks the one for the forecast.
