Foreman ko’s rivals with 17.45 effort

MINEOLA FOREMAN posted easily the fastest time so far in the Kudos Catering Super Sprint at Curraheen Park on Saturday night when going within five spots of the track record with a sizzling 17.45 effort in heat 2.

Trained by Seamus Graham, who also took heat four with Blue Majestic, the winner was led early on by the well backed 5/4 favourite Deckys Dream. However Mineola Foreman showed excellent early speed to lead before the opening turn and eventually beat Lemon Fire by a whopping seven and a half lengths.
